Writing for Niche Markets Description This workshop will explore ways to come up with ideas that have a better than average chance of selling because they are targeted to niche markets. We will explore why some niche writers seem to sell more than others; market surveys that can help define ideas; how to write for niche markets; fine tuning your submissions materials, manuscripts and articles; and how to market yourself as an expert in your field. Session Format The session utilizes a PowerPoint presentation that takes writers through the process of identifying niche markets that have an audience. Participants will receive a worksheet and an outline of the presentation. The session can be tailored to fit an hour to an hour and a half.
